Ahava

Cupid smiles on his cloud,

Dreaming of a warmer future,

And w/ a loving laugh aloud

Zings an arrow to assure

Two lovers, albeit apart,

Catch each other in eye.

Thus their dragons of heart

Aspire together to the sky.

Thence they shall dance

E’ermore in amorous rite,

Spiraling in a trance

To entwine ‘til tight:

Destiny’s concord to cherish,

Challenging any unknown!

By none shall it perish,

Nei’er by stick nor stone!

From night to day,

From black to blue,

Debonair’s the ballet

Their bodies imbue:

To be but one beauty,

To breathe but one breath

Of overwhelming Ahava

Beyond their day of death.
