Rapacious opossums I feel
Filthy & wild ‘neath my flesh,
Thrashing frothily for their meal
Of Desire’s love child in its creche —
Night ‘n’ day, a sinful buffet
To cauterize my bleedin’
Mind’s balderdash
& swat-away the flies eatin’
From my heart barely beatin’
‘neath this trash.
